Sweet Serenade at Summer Sizzler

Antelope Valley Showcase Chorus was thrilled to be represented during the 2015 Summer Sizzler this past weekend during the Novice Quartet contest by Sweet Serenade!

Each summer Sweet Adelines from Region 11 gather together for education and singing. This includes guest faculty and an opportunity for novice quartets to compete (either be considering competing in the spring or just want to have the experience of singing together and get some great feedback). The latter comes in the form of a contest held on Friday evening. One lucky participant is the recipient of a "quartet make-over" where they are treated to breakfast with our regional champion quartet and coaching - culminating with a guest appearance on the "Winners Circle" show Saturday evening.

Sweet Serenade, Kim Alley, Cindy Reilly, Sabrina McClinton and Karen Morrison, did just that when they took third in the contest and chose to take advantage of the coaching opportunity.
